About
The Canadian Med Student Forum was developed as an initiative to support cross-country connection and communication regarding topics such as Visiting Electives, CaRMS, virtual events and opportunities and more. It was created by and is managed by students for students with a goal of strengthening communication channels amongst learners at Canadian medical schools.
We exist to promote collegiality and as such hold our community to a high standard and will not tolerate any forms of mistreatment or harm. We will not tolerate any forms of false advertisement, inappropriate language and harassment, racism, sexism, or any other action that is seen by community members to go against an uplifting community which values equity, diversity, and inclusion of all members.
We believe all women can embrace who they are,
can define their future, and can change the world.
Our Mission
To create stronger communication channels amongst all Canadian medical students in order to promote collegiality and eliminate barriers to participating in opportunities no matter a student's connections or background.
Our Vision
To maintain a forum space that all medical students across Canada feel safe and welcome using while allowing for greater cross-school collaboration and discussion regarding Canadian medical education for all current classes at each stage of our education journeys and the match process.
